EXPERTISE
Dipti has dealt with matters before the High Court, Small Causes Court, City Civil Court, District Courts, Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court, NCLT, MAHARera, Consumer Court, Sessions Court.
She is proficient in initiating legal proceedings for recovery of dues for various companies via recovery suits & issuing Legal Notices, filing recovery suits before District Courts, Complaints u/s 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. Her skills also include drafting and dealing with Recovery Suits, Summary Suits, Testamentary matters, Writ Petitions, Contempt Petitions, Appeals, Arbitration Petitions/ Applications, Family disputes, Property matters, etc., before the High Court.
Dipti has handled various issues relating to civil, corporate and commercial, arbitrations, recovery and negotiation between clients willing to settle the matter amicably. She is accomplished in conducting extensive research work, handling procedural aspects in various courts, interacting with clients, taking instructions and preparing them for trials. She believes in building and maintaining relationships every step of the way with clients and colleagues.
In addition, she is well-versed in alternate dispute resolution, including experience in handling international arbitration, arbitration before the NSE, BSE and MCX. She has broad-based legal expertise, including experience in working with various corporations, preparing Case Papers, Plaints, Written Statements, Affidavits, Writ Petitions, Caveats, and Appeals for managing legal activities/ proceedings, complaints, etc. She is also acquainted with property related documentation. Her responsibilities further include extensive legal research and coordination with Counsels; drafting deeds and documents, including letters and application forms etc., providing legal advice to clients, conceiving appropriate legal strategies for the client’s case after assessing case history.

Gopala Rao co-chairs the Firm’s tax vertical in Southern India. He retired as the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai, after serving the Income Tax Department for 35 years. He specializes in Corporate Taxation, Search & Seizure Assessment Procedures, Charitable Trusts & NGOs as well as Dispute Resolution. He has extensively worked with IT & ITES, Banks & NBFCs, Automobiles & Real Estate entities.
EXPERTISE
While in service, Mr. Rao was actively associated with revenue mobilization, recovery of arrears, prosecution of the defaulters, Tax Administration, HR management and Infrastructure Development. He was also responsible for the redressal of Public Grievances and Taxpayer Services. He orated on Income Tax and socio-economic characteristics of fiscal space in society in various Public Meetings.
