MovingAhead – Pro Bono During COVID
This Pro- Bono initiative was taken up in response to the growing legal needs of Start-ups and
MSMEs arising due to the pandemic. Through this initiative we offered 100 Hours of Free Legal
Advice per month to those who needed it.

The response was overwhelming, and we successfully completed the pledged hours with the top
three projects being:
- Helping a startup with massive regulatory compliance.
- Helping a women hygiene startup with legal packaging and IP advice.
- Helping a startup with trademark filing.
Almost 67% of the requests were from Startups and 41% of the entities/individuals sought corporate
legal advice. Intellectual Property and Employment Law related queries came in second and third by
volume.
