With nearly a decade of extensive legal expertise, Saurabh leads the Alternate Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice as a Partner in Delhi. A lawyer with an engineering degree and a knack for sharing sophisticated exegesis on legal issues, Saurabh has authored several books, including four books on intellectual property law, two books on arbitration law and a book on privacy law.

Mathews comes with a rich experience of handling varied aspects of intellectual property including trademarks, copyrights and designs, while hand-holding organizations through the serpentine maze of clearance searches to registrations and enforcement. Shourya is the co-managing partner of Fox Mandal and is particularly responsible for the firm’s operations in Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Delhi. He has been nominated as a leading Corporate and M&A lawyer in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 for many years. He has been recommended as a Global Leader for Corporate and M&A practice in Who’s Who Foreign Investment Review Guide. He is also named as a leading lawyer in the International Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers. 

EXPERTISE

Shourya qualified as a solicitor from Bombay in 1993 and is also admitted to practice as a solicitor in England. He is primarily a  Corporate and Commercial lawyer dealing in transactions work. However, he is also well-known for his proficiency in real-estate matters.

In addition, Shourya is one of the Vice-Chairs of the Banking, Finance & Securities Committee of the Inter Pacific Bar Association. He is also an active member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
