The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has rolled out the Anti-Doping helpline, 1800-119-919, for athletes and athlete support personnel to address their queries and provide the necessary information about Anti-Doping rules and guidelines. Hence, athletes, coaches, parents, etc. can make use of the helpline number to ensure fair play and clean competition.
The Government has taken several measures to fulfill its mission of rooting out drug abuse and doping by sportspersons. These include conducting awareness programs, publishing information about prohibited substances, extending financial support to national sports federations, etc.
Also, the Agency has launched the “Speak Up!” portal, through which athletes and others can report any incidents of drug abuse or violations of the Anti-Doping rules. It has been assured that the confidentiality of the informer and the information shared through this portal will be maintained.
